Blind and visually impaired persons develop an employment goal and achieve success with assistance through the federal/state program of Vocational Rehabilitation (VR).



Services include:
• diagnosis and evaluation
• physical restoration
• instruction in daily living skills, including Braille and travel training
• vocational training, including college
• provision of tools and equipment
• adaptive technology
• rehabilitation facility services for adjustment to blindness and attainment of blindness skills
• job development
• placement assistance/follow-up
