| Our Referral
Process
Individuals may contact our center to schedule
a CSTAR assessment. An individual assessment will
determine the appropriate treatment level for
eligible women.
Referrals are welcome from consumers, hospitals,
physicians, families, self-help groups, public
health clinics or other treatment facilities.
CSTAR
Substance Abuse Services to Women
Community support service is available as
needed for each level of treatment services.
Our program is a six-month, multi-level
process designed to assist women in sustaining
recovery.
Three levels of treatment are provided
to meet the individual needs of the women
we serve: |
 |
 |
Level 1 - Residential/Community
Based Treatment
Includes up to 40 hours of intensive structured
therapeutic activity per week. Treatment consists
of individual, couples and/or family counseling,
group counseling and group education.
Level 2 - Community Based Rehabilitation
Intensive Outpatient Services provide individual,
couples and/or family therapy, group counseling
and group education on a weekly basis. Services
are guided by each woman’s plan.
Level 3 - Community Based Supportive
Recovery
Supportive Recovery Services include individual,
couples and/or family therapy, group counseling
and education. Services continue to be guided
by the strengths and needs identified in each
woman’s plan.
Treatment across all levels also includes addressing
medical needs, and assistance with developing
and using supports available in the community.

To Empower Women
to Make Better Choices |
Our Philosophy
Carol Jones Recovery Center will develop a collaborative
relationship with women, their families and community
resources to foster healthy and functional living
for all members involved. Our goal is to treat
all the women we serve with dignity and respect,
to encourage community mindedness and approach
the treatment process from a team-driven approach.
Women working on recovery with the Carol Jones
Recovery Center for Women (CJRC) team participate
in up to a six-month program. The program begins
with a detailed individualized assessment. This
assessment assists each woman and her team in
developing a treatment plan matching services
and resources with each woman’s strengths
and needs. Many women’s plans include ideas
for supporting her with her children and family.
The amount of time in contact with the team ranges
from a few hours a week up to forty hours a week.
Some women may need the safety of living in the
available residential level of services, living
as a resident at CJRC for up to 28 days. Completion
of a residential stay is followed by continued
outpatient involvement.
Outpatient services are offered at various times
during the week in order to match women’s
schedules as much as possible.
