Additional Adult Services

Home and Community Based Services
AO/DaySpring provides counseling services to adults and seniors coping with such issues as loss, grief, adjustment, health crises, and family problems. Counselors focus on reconnecting the individual to their strengths and abilities in finding the means to cope and find solutions. These services may take place in the home, at a mutually agreed upon location in the community, or at a traditional office site. Family sessions are encouraged. Our goal is to break down any and all barriers to helping our clients receive the help they need and to become the most accessible provider we can be.

Services provided include:
  • Counseling
    • Individual
    • Family
    • Group

  • 24 hour Crisis Management
Assessments and Treatment Planning
These services are provided to evaluate individual problems and needs, and to help assure that appropriate services are available to the person seeking services. Initial, ongoing and crisis evaluations are all used. These services are provided or supervised by a licensed professional and reviewed with a medical doctor with psychiatric training.

Case Management
Case Management is the support an individual or family receives to enhance self-sufficiency. A certified Paraprofessional will work with the client to improve and maintain functioning in their home, school, and community environment.

Individual and Group Behavioral Skills Education
Behavioral skills education involves teaching modeling and training appropriate skills to improve chances for successful experiences in school, family, and social life experiences.

Behavioral Health Services for Special Populations
